Dorchester Public Schools held its annual Veterans Day Program on November 11, bringing together students, staff, families, and community members to honor local veterans. FBLA officers welcomed veterans and their families with breakfast and coffee before the program began. The ceremony opened with the second-grade class leading the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by the national anthem performed by the high school band. The program also included patriotic readings, a guest address by Gerald “Jerry” Meyer, and the presentation of Quilts of Valor to Don Bruha, Brian Vosler, and Tom Weber. The event concluded with a moment of silence, serving as a meaningful reminder of the gratitude and respect felt throughout the Dorchester community.
